Christian Bables answered this lingering question about his personal life
Actor Christian Bables, in a recent interview, shared his thoughts on people questioning his “sekswalidad.”
Christian has shown his versatility when it comes to his acting caliber with the various roles he portrayed on TV and in movies. For several times, he portrayed gay roles, and he did a great job in doing this, as he made every character believable.
Because of this, some people speculated about his s*xuality, and he was aware of the comments.
In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, Christian Bables said that he has accepted the fact that no matter what he says and does, people would still cling to their wrong perspective of someone.
“Hindi mo mababago ang perception ng tao sa’yo. Kung ito ang standards nila ng pagiging straight at pagiging hindi, you can never change that – kahit anong gawin mo, ‘no?” the actor said.
Christian also said that he respects other people’s perceptions. “I respect that. If iniisip ng mga tao, ganito ang sekswalidad ni ganito, ganito ang sekswalidad ni ganyan, I mean that’s them, eh,” he said.
He also said that no one can question other people’s standards, but he stressed that when it comes to a person’s s*xuality, it is “none of your business.”
For Christian, there is only one factor when a person would have the right to ask about another person’s s*xuality, and it is when someone intends to be in a relationship with that person.
“Unless may balak kang asawahin ‘yung taong ‘yun o may magandang maidudulot sa’yo ‘yung information about that person’s sexuality, dapat hindi siya itinatanong,” he said.
Christian Bables also highlighted that it is a person’s right to keep this aspect of his or her life private. “And again, wala, dapat kayong pakialam sa sekswalidad ng iba,” the actor said.
He also expressed his support for the LGBT community. Christian stressed that he will never get tired of standing and fighting for what he believes. He is a proud ally, and he said that it is safe that he will be included in the community.
The actor also mentioned that even though there is already great progress in recognizing the community, there are still some pushbacks.
