Ruffa Gutierrez is thankful for the prayers for her father
Actress Ruffa Gutierrez shared that her father, veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez, is set to have his second operation.
Back in December, Ruffa shared a post on her Instagram page asking the public to pray for her father. Eddie had a spinal surgery. The actress and her family received support from the online community through messages of encouragement and prayers.
Just recently, actor Monching Gutierrez, one of Eddie’s children, shared an update. Monching said that his father was getting better.
In a recent social media post, Ruffa Gutierrez showed appreciation for everyone who prayed for her father. She also shared that on Monday, she, her father, and her mother, Annabelle Rama, flew to Singapore.
Before their flight, the Gutierrez family had breakfast at their home in Quezon City. Ruffa said her thank you to those who offered prayers for their patriarch.
“Pinoy breakfast at home before we fly to Singapore for Dad’s second operation. Your prayers mean everything… his blood tests are normal, and his health is improving. Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng nagdadasal. This really means a lot to us. We are forever grateful for the love and prayers,” the actress wrote.
Ruffa also showed optimism and was hopeful. “Miracles do happen. All Glory to God,” she added.
Based on the article by entertainment writer Jun Lalin, the second spinal procedure of Eddie Gutierrez is scheduled on Tuesday, January 13, in Singapore, and the family is set to return to the Philippines on Wednesday.
In the comment section of the post that Ruffa Gutierrez shared, her fans promised that they would pray for her father’s recovery.
