Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda shares a plan to have a baby through surrogacy, but this plan is still on hold because of this reason.
To a married couple, having a baby is always part of the plan to build their own family. This is also the same case with Vice Ganda and Ion Perez. Having a baby has now become a part of their plan, and recently, the Unkabogable Star shared that they are planning to have one through surrogacy.
However, for now, they have to stall this plan due to significant reasons. Timing and health have always been getting in the way.
“Gusto talaga namin [to have a child]. Nag-consult na ako sa doctor. Pinaplano na nga,” Vice said. She is willing to undergo the medical process, however, it would require her to rest for three months in order to produce healthy seeds. The rest would prevent her from getting stressed, which will ensure her optimal health.
This kind of pause is accordingly something she could not afford for now. Resting for three months would mean stepping away from It’s Showtime for three months, and at the moment, this is not feasible for him.
As much as we all know, she is a host and a key figure behind the scenes of the noontime show.
“Hindi dahil sa ’yung kita ko mawawala… parang what will happen to Showtime if I am not there for three months?” she said. Vice admitted it is difficult for her to detach from the show and the people behind it, but said she remains open to surrogacy as she looks for ways to manage her responsibilities during a possible break. She is also looking for figures who can manage to replace her while she is gone.
