PROHIBITED FIRECRACKERS 2025 – The Philippine National Police (PNP) released the list of products that the public should avoid for safety in celebrating the New Year.

Amid the holiday season in the Philippines now, countless Filipinos are busy preparing for the left and right Christmas parties, reunions, and other events that gather family and friends together. There are food preparations as well as gift-giving.

The best Christmas songs can also be heard everywhere. Undeniably, they add to the shopping vibe in malls as well as other public places. Amid the holiday season in the country, several government agencies have issued guidelines and advisories.

The Department of Labor and Employment or DOLE reminded companies that employees should not be forced to dance during Christmas parties. The Department of Transportation or DOTr also offers free rides in LRT-1, LRT-2, and MRT-3 for the 12 days of Christmas.

With regards to the Philippine National Police, the PNP recently issued the list of the prohibited firecrackers for the safety of the public. Based on a report on Phil Star, PNP-Firearms and Explosive Office’s Explosive Management Division Chief PCol. Rex Buyucan announced the products that the public should avoid.

Individuals who will be caught using the products that belong to the prohibited firecrackers may face imprisonment of six (6) months up to one (1) year for violation of the Republic Act 7183.
