Female Customer Slams Mall Staff for Taking Promo Items for ThemselvesĀ

A female customer filed a complaint against mall staff, claiming that they and their acquaintances were the only ones taking all the buy-one-take-one items.

Recently, Mary Jude Valencia, a Facebook user, shared her complaint about mall staff, saying that they and people they know were the ones consuming most of the buy-one-take-one items. The post quickly gained reactions online.

Valencia shared her experience while shopping at a supermarket in Bacolod. She said she noticed that several promotional items were not reaching the display shelves. Instead, she observed that boxes of these items were being handled directly by staff members in a way that made them unavailable to walk-in customers.

According to her, she tried to ask about a specific product that was part of a buy-one-take-one deal. However, she was told that the item was no longer available. It confused her because she could clearly see boxes of the same product nearby.

Mary felt that the explanation did not match what she was seeing at that moment. She also claimed that some staff members appeared to be setting aside items even before they were displayed.

There were instances where people, believed to be acquaintances or relatives of the staff, were being called to purchase the promo items in bulk. Because of this, regular shoppers were left without access to the advertised deals.

The incident left her feeling disappointed, as she believed that promotions should be fair and open to all customers. She expressed her intention to report the matter to the store management so that proper action could be taken.

Many online users reacted to her post, sharing similar experiences in other stores.
