In an Instagram post, Ruffa Gutierrez has appealed to the public for prayers as her father, veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez, undergoes his first spinal procedure in Singapore. The post was shared on Wednesday, and the actress revealed her father will be having his procedure on December 10 at the Mount Elizabeth Hospital Neuro Spine & Pain Center in the said country.
“We humbly ask for prayers for a successful procedure, steady hands for the doctors, and complete healing for our dad. May everything go smoothly and unfold according to His perfect will,” said the actress in the caption, along with their family photo taken before Eddie’s operation.
In the photo, the veteran actor was accompanied by his wife, Annabelle Rama, and their two children, Ruffa and Raymond, for his procedure. In the same post, she thanked the Filipino nurses caring for her father abroad. She also expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of love and support that their family has been receiving from fans and followers.
She added, “To everyone facing their own battles this season, may God grant you strength, peace, and His healing embrace. From our family to yours, you are not alone.”
