During the “Call Me Mother” press conference, Vice Ganda said these words about Shuvee Etrata, and this is how the latter reacted.
Months after the issue between Vice Ganda and Shuvee Etrata surfaced, the two were seen together again at a single event, which was at the press conference of the MMFF 2025 movie titled “Call Me Mother.”
This is Vice’s offering for this Christmas with Nadine Lustre and PBB Celebrity Collab’s former housemates.
Prior to this, there have been issues, and one of them was her old video where she seemingly expressed an “unpleasant” reaction to the comedian. Shuvee expressed that she wanted to see Vice and explained her old video, saying, “Nag-eww talaga ako kasi parehas kaming girl. I sent a message regarding sa mga kumakalat, gusto ko lang rin i-clarify ‘yung side ko, ‘Meme, I was always honest about my feelings to you, I never lied. I’ll wait.”
Recently, during the press conference for their movie, Vice expressed that Shuvee has always been someone who listens to her. She has always allowed her to advise and correct her, and she never took it against her. Vice added that they have always been open to each other. They can tell each other anything openly and resolve things between them, and this is why she loves Shuvee.
Upon the words of the superstar comedian, the Kapuso artist became emotional.
“Meme is Meme. So, I’m happy to be given this chance na maka-breath the same air as Meme. Talagang si Meme ay lang po talaga siya si Meme. Marami na po siyang nabago na buhay, and binago niya ang buhay ko,” she expressed.
“Call Me Mother,” on the other hand, marks the second movie of Vice and Nadine. This is one of the official entries for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2025.
