Here’s the agreement between Angelica Panganiban and Gregg Homan for her showbiz return.
Angelica Panganiban is making her big-screen comeback with the upcoming film “UnMarry,” and here’s her setup as a married woman.
After her four-year hiatus to focus on motherhood and being a wife, actress Angelica Panganiban is making a comeback on the big screen. She and Zanjoe Marudo are starring in “Unmarry,” one of the official entries of MMFF 2025.
However, before her showbiz comeback, she made a deal with her husband, Gregg Homan, first. While he is supportive of her career endeavors, it is clear between the two of them that their top priority is their family, especially their three-year-old daughter, Amila Sabine.
One of the hard things about this is distance, as she is now based in Subic. Traveling back and forth every day would be difficult and physically exhausting for her. They came up with a compromise and agreed that she would stay in Manila for three days for work and would be home in Subic for the rest of the week.
“Kasi nahihirapan din siya. Parang napapansin daw niya sa ika-apat na araw, napapatulala na yung bata. So, parang nagsusungit na rin siya,” she shared. As a hands-on mother, she understood the sentiments of her husband. He works the whole day, and for years now, they have been used to the setup where she is the one who stays at home mostly.
“Parang, ‘Kasi naman puwede namang talagang bumalik sa work. Pero, puwede bang yung three days straight? Tapos pagkatapos, umuwi ka dito. Tapos, dito ka nang matagal, four days. Tapos shoot ka ulit ng three days.'”
She is grateful that the film production adjusted to her situation. They have been very understanding towards her, who has just started working for the first time after having her own family. She explained that they are still finding their dynamics.
