James Reid did not leave Issa Pressman amid a difficult time
Actor James Reid decided to stay with his girlfriend, social media personality Issa Pressman, amid the bashing she received that affected her mental health.
James and Issa’s relationship became controversial. It is because of the fact that the actor’s ex-girlfriend, actress Nadine Lustre, is friends with Issa and her sister Yassi Pressman.
Allegations also surfaced that Issa was the third party in James and Nadine’s breakup. Because of that, Issa received bashing online, but Nadine defended her friend.

In a recent interview, on the YouTube channel of veteran journalist Karen Davila, Issa Pressman talked about the challenges she encountered when it comes to her mental health struggle and the online attacks that she received.
With what she went through, James Reid never left her side. The actor said that it was important that Issa opened up about her experience.
“Her voice was taken away. She couldn’t couldn’t defend herself, and she had people on the outside, hitting on her. She had people on the inside, within my own group of friends, people I’ve worked with, people who betrayed me, who were trying to also attack her from the inside. It was just an all-out assault. And it felt like she couldn’t defend herself, and it felt like she had no voice,” James said.

He also said that he is happy to hear Issa telling her story to someone else, and to the public. It is because he is he is happy that people heard his girlfriend’s truth and they would see how beautiful of a person she is, and he has seen this all along.
James said that because of love, he was able to stay with Issa through her darkest times. “It was just love. I’d never had one single shadow of a doubt that it was her,” the actor said.
He also said that no one made him feel the way that he feels now with Issa. Then, he told her girlfriend that she would be strongest person he knows if she would be able to surpass what she was going through. Then, James Reid said that, indeed, Issa Pressman overcame that challenges.
