A speculation about Phillip Salvador circulated online
Instead of getting angry, veteran actor Phillip Salvador, also known as Kuya Ipe, just laughed when he learned the news that he was allegedly “agaw-buhay” due to an accident while shooting his acting project.
Phillip has been in the entertainment industry for many decades already. When it comes to acting, he has received several recognitions and awards. He was praised by critics for his acting caliber and versatility in portraying different roles.
A rumor recently surfaced that allegedly happened while the veteran actor was filming, based on an article in Abante.

A post from the Pinoy Trend Spot account about what happened to Phillip went viral on Facebook. The post featured a photo with the late Superstar and National Artist Nora Aunor.
There was also a photo of an ambulance, and the caption stated, “Phillip Salvador In an Accident While Taping Sad.” The Facebook page called Serendipity Sphere also shared the same post.
Abante entertainment reporter Rey Pumaloy stressed in his article that the veteran actor was still very much alive and strong when they met him on Friday night. Rey shared that Phillip was unaware that a speculation circulated that he was almost lifeless in the hospital and later died.

The veteran actor just joked about this. He said, “Ibig sabihin hahaba pa ang buhay ko.” However, in a serious tone, he warned those who spread fake news. “Doon sa naglabas ng fake news na yan, tigilan nya ang pagbabalita ng ganyan. Baka kasi sa kanyang bumalik yan, yung tinatawag na karma.”
There had been several celebrities who became victims of a death hoax. Social media sites would post about this kind of claim, and unfortunately, some people were just so gullible to believe easily without checking if the post was credible or not.
Among the recent victims of death hoax posts were Kris Aquino, Dante Rivero, Luis Manzano, Billy Crawford, Kim Atienza, and Carla Abellana.
