Paolo Contis was asked about the definition of a “happy home”
Kapuso actor Paolo Contis shared his thoughts on not being with his children with his former partners.
Paolo’s love life is quite a controversial topic in the Philippine entertainment industry. His breakup with former dancer Lian Paz created a loud buzz in showbiz, as their two daughters at that time were still so young.
Lian decided to live in Cebu, and for the longest time, Paolo did not have communication with his two daughters. Fortunately, a reconciliation happened between Paolo and Lian in August, and this was through the effort of the latter’s partner basketball player, John Cabahug.

With this, Paolo Contis also reconnected to his daughters, Xonia and Xalene. Aside from them, the Kapuso actor also has a daughter with his former partner, LJ Reyes, named Summer. When they separated, LJ decided to live in New York.
In a recent media conference for the movie Ang Happy Homes Ni Diane Hilario, in which Paolo is one of the cast members, a reporter asked him about the definition of a “happy home,” for him, based on the article in PEP.
The actor answered, “Yung home na walang problema. Feeling ko, gusto mong dalhin ko yan sa mga anak ko, e. So, pagbigyan kita.”
However, he apparently knew that the reporter wanted the question to indirectly touch on the topic of his kids. “Yung home na walang problema. Feeling ko, gusto mong dalhin ko yan sa mga anak ko, e. So, pagbigyan kita,” the actor said.

Paolo stressed that it does not matter to him whether he is with his kids or not. “It doesn’t matter kung magkakasama kami or what in one home, di ba? My home is my heart, and they’re in my heart,” he emphasized.
Then, the actor said that he, his mother, and his older brother are also away from each other. Even though his daughters are in Cebu and he is in Makati, they are in his heart. With this, he said that his home is happy.
However, the actor shared that he can’t say right now that he is completely happy. It is because he still needs to fix some things. He said that he is “almost complete.” On the other hand, Paolo Contis did not divulge how he is fixing things in his life.
