This statement of Dra. Vicki Belo stirred speculations online.
Recently, online platforms were stirred out of curiosity after Dra. Vicki Belo revealed that a Filipina is the top client of Hermes in Paris.
Hermès is a French luxury brand renowned for its exquisite bags, scarves, and leather goods. Celebrated as a symbol of craftsmanship, heritage, and understated elegance, the brand upholds its exclusivity by limiting availability and prioritizing exceptional quality over mass production.

In the Philippines, A-list celebrities, politicians’ wives, and businesswomen are often the ones who carry these kinds of bags. Actress and fashion icon Heart Evangelista has a collection of Hermes bags, which is the same as Jinkee Pacquiao, the wife of politician and boxing legend Manny Pacquiao.
The brand itself is already a big deal, and to see someone own from this brand is just as big considering the whopping price of a single product, especially bags.
Recently, Dra. Vicki Belo has expressed a statement during an interview, which stirred the people online. According to the founder of the Belo Empire, the top client of Hermes Paris is a Pinay. She did not mention any name, which made the buzz grow louder.

“In Hermès, Faubourg Saint-Honoré, I think the number one client there – it’s not me, by the way, by far – it’s a Filipina,” Belo said, and added, “And one of the people connected to this whole, you know… I just feel so bad for our country.”
A clip of her remarks circulated online.
Making her statement more intriguing when she spoke further of a message related to politics and the current happenings in the country’s government, “It’s important that we are informed My prayers right now are for the country.”
She finds it difficult to ignore the spectacle of wealth and the realities in the country. There are people suffering, and flooding has become rampant. She expressed, “You see the people suffering, you see the floods. I just wish that they would have love for country. That everybody would somehow have a spiritual renewal.”
