Game show host Willie Revillame and dancer Sugar Mercado have no bad blood after the end of their seven-year relationship.
Last year, through Cristy Fermin, the past relationship of dancer Sugar Mercado and TV variety show host Willie Revillame was revealed. It created a loud buzz online, and for a time, the two remained silent.
In the past, Willie and Sugar spent seven years together as a couple. Fermin quipped, “Bakit ba sila nagkakaila, pitong taon na, bakit hindi nila maamin na magkarelasyon naman sila talaga?”
March of this year, Mercado was asked about her rumored 7-year relationship with Revillame, and seemingly confirming it, her words were, “Di ako sure. Di naman siya umamin eh. Kapal naman ng mukha ko kung aamin ako di naman siya umamin, di ba?”
In a recent interview, she was asked again about their past, and according to her, they lost communication when they separated. They don’t have bad blood between them, and she could only hope that he is okay right now.
She has nothing bad to say about him because they shared a lot of good memories together. She and Willie worked on the latter’s TV show “Wil Time Big Time” from 2011 to 2012, and again on GMA’s “Wowowin” in 2017.
“Si Kuya Wil, wala naman diyang masamang tinapay. Wala kaming pinagsamahan na di maganda, alam naman niya rin yun. Busy lang talaga kami pareho,” she said.
For now, it is her personal choice to be single. At 38, she won the Mrs. Universe Official 2025, and it was a victory that shocked her; she never imagined becoming a beauty queen.
Aside from the title, Sugar also won Best Talent, Best National Costume, and Best Long Gown at the competition held in San Pedro, Laguna.
