Senators Alan Peter Cayetano, Bato dela Rosa Join List of Senators Who Bared Net Worth
ALAN PETER CAYETANO, BATO DELA ROSA – The Senators released copies of their Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN).
Several net worth bared their SALNs to the public amid the flood control issue in the Philippines. Ombudsman Boying Remulla who reopened the SALN of government officials to the public called on the senators to voluntarily issue a copy of their SALN to the public.

The Office of the Ombudsman issued a memorandum that lifted the restrictions on the public access to the SALNs of the government officials. The office is the repository of the SALN of the president, the vice president, and the officials of the local government units and the Constitutional commissions.
The memorandum reversed the circular that was implemented during the term of former Ombudsman Samuel Martires who resigned in July. In the memo, Remulla stressed that “Public office is a public trust”.

Based on her SALN, Sen. Risa Hontiveros declared a net worth of nearly P19 million in 2024. Sen. Raffy Tulfo and his wife, Jocelyn, who is a member of the House of Representatives declared an over P1 billion net worth in their joint SALN. The couple has listed no liabilities.

Recently, two (2) minority senators, Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano and Sen. Bato dela Rosa, released copies of their SALN to the public. Based on a post of News5 on social media, the Senate Minority Leader has a net worth of P109,130,757.00 as of December 31, 2024.
Sen. Cayetano listed in his SALN two (2) real properties which are condominium units worth P12.9 million. Based on his SALN, he has a cash on hand and in the bank amounting to P30.5 million. He also got pieces of jewelry, books, appliances, artworks, investments, receivables, and cars as among his personal properties.

Under his liabilities is a housing loan with an outstanding balance of P1.5 million. Based on another post, Sen. Bato dela Rosa has a net worth of P32,293,018.05 as declared in his SALN as of June 30, 2025.
Dela Rosa listed four (4) real properties which include two residential properties and two agricultural properties. He has a cash in banks and on hand amounting to P7.4 million. Appliances, gadgets, and pieces of jewelry are among his personal properties.

With regards to his liabilities, Sen. Bato dela Rosa has a total of over P29 million in liabilities for personal and housing loans as well as bank credits. Previously, another Senate Minority bloc senator, Robin Padilla, also bared his net worth.
