Teen Dies While Two of His Friends Injured in Pampanga After Online Challenge Leads to Tragic Accident
A teen lost his life while two of his friends were seriously injured after an online challenge leads to a deadly attack.
A 15-year-old boy lost his life while two of his friends were seriously injured in a tragic road incident in Floridablanca, Pampanga, after an online argument turned into a deadly encounter.
The victim, a student from Barangay San Jose, was riding with two other teenagers, aged 15 and 16, when they were attacked late at night on October 23. Police identified the main suspect as a 24-year-old mechanic known as “Jose,” from Barangay Calantas.

He has since been arrested and is facing charges of murder and two counts of frustrated murder.
Investigators said the conflict began when Jose and one of the teens exchanged angry messages on social media. The argument quickly escalated, with both sides agreeing to settle their dispute through a fistfight.
The group decided to meet near the boundary of Barangay Calantas that night.
However, what was supposed to be a confrontation turned into a setup. CCTV footage revealed that the suspects were already waiting near the area, hiding in the dark. As the three victims drove by on a motorcycle, Jose reportedly threw a liquor bottle at them.
The bottle struck the driver, causing the motorcycle to swerve and crash into a nearby fence.
The boys were rushed to Romana Pangan District Hospital, but one was declared dead on arrival. The other two suffered injuries and were later brought to a larger medical facility for further treatment.
Police arrested Jose during a follow-up operation, while three other men believed to be involved remain at large. Authorities continue their search and have asked for public cooperation.
