Senator Ping Lacson shared a shady tweet about a “crazy cat” and an “annoying dog,” and here are some guesses from netizens.
Lacson is just among the many politicians in the Philippines who are active on social media. He would share about his work, his programs, and the advocacies he supports.
There were times that the lawmaker would share his opinions and even fiery messages or statements, just like what he recently shared on his official account on X, formerly Twitter.
In a tweet shared on October 2, Sen. Ping Lacson asked if there is a veterinary clinic with an animal psychiatric ward. “We have a crazy cat that keeps meowing on the ground floor and an annoying dog that keeps barking on the upper floor,” he wrote in his tweet.
In the comment section of his post, netizens played along with what he said. “Cats and dogs are noisy if they see crocodiles… Check ur surroundings,” a netizen commented. Here are some comments.
This was shared on Reddit under r/ChikaPH, and netizens guessed that the Senator was referring to Cavite 4th District Representative Kiko Barzaga and Senator Rodante Marcoleta.
To recall, Lacson wanted to have a full record check over the surprise witness presented by Marcoleta during the Senate inquiry on anomalous flood control projects. Previously, Marcoleta received bashing because he was allegedly protecting contractors Curlee and Sarah Discaya.
It was alleged that Marcoleta’s wife, Edna Marcoleta, is an executive director of Stronghold Corporation, an insurance company that allegedly handles the construction firms of Diacayas.
Cong. Kiko Bargaza shared a photo of Sen. Ping Lacson with the Discayas. The Senator clarified this. After this, Barzaga claimed that according to his intelligence, a senator was “plotting” to end his life.
