Through Ogie Diaz, ABS-CBN actor Gerald Anderson has this to say about his split with Julia Barretto and rumors involving Vanie Gandler.
ABS-CBN talent agency Star Magic and VIVA have confirmed previously that Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson have already separated. This has ended the speculations that have been lingering for months already.
It was a decision that was mutually agreed upon. It said in the statement about the Julia-Gerald split, “Star Magic confirms that Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto have mutually decided to end their relationship.”
Recently, via Ogie Diaz, he set the record straight and admitted that it was his fault that their relationship ended. He did not elaborate on the real reason behind, with Diaz saying, “Sinabi pa ni Gerald na iba ang dahilan, at inako rin niya na siya ang may kasalanan ng breakup nila ni Julia pero hindi na ito idinetalye pa ni Gerald.”
There was a different reason behind their split, and it wasn’t Vanie Gandler who was speculated to be the third party. He denied that the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) player is a third party in their relationship and that she was the reason behind their split.
They don’t personally know each other, and he added that they don’t contact each other.
“Matagal na raw itong Vanie Gandler issue pero ito’y wala raw katotohanan talaga,” Diaz said, and added, “Sinabi pa ni Gerald na iba ang dahilan, at inako rin niya na siya ang may kasalanan ng breakup nila ni Julia pero hindi na ito idinetalye pa ni Gerald.”
Moreover, Gerald admitted that he had been deeply affected by the bashing against him and expressed hope that the issue would finally be put to rest.
