LUCAS LORENZO – The equestrian-turned-businessman is currently being linked with actress Julia Barretto, and here are some things about him.
Previously, ABS-CBN actress Julia Barretto sparked romance buzz with Lucas Lorenzo, a wealthy businessman. He is the brother of Claudia Barretto’s husband, Basti Lorenzo. Claudia is Julia’s sister, and their primary connection simply starts from here. Mateo Lorenzo, his brother, is the husband of actress Erich Gonzales.
Who is Lucas Lorenzo?
He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of RestaurantConcepts Group Inc. From equestrian to CEO, he stepped into this new leadership role at the family business, and he was more than ready to serve and lead the company.
This was a position his father once held, and upon taking the wheel, he expressed, “My vision for RCGI is one of continued growth, innovation, and excellence…”
He believes that this vision for the company can be achieved by staying true to its core values and embracing changes at the same time. Before assuming the leadership role, he had been exposed by his father in the field.
Lucas shared, “I remember the bustling atmosphere, the delicious aromas wafting from the kitchen, and the sense of pride my father exuded as he spoke with the staff and greeted customers.”
Before fully venturing into business, he faced challenges as an equestrian. He was just two years old when he first held a horse’s reins. This passion for horse riding was developed and later led him to the direction of competitive horse racing.
There was a time, however, that he left the saddle to focus on his studies.
After graduating from college, he held the reins and sat on the saddle once more. His biggest goal was to make it to the Philippine team in the 2016 Rio Olympics. As it appears, it wasn’t just business that ran in their family. His grandfather is Moro Lorenzo, a basketball star who was part of the legendary Philippine team that clinched the gold medal at the 1951 Asian Games.
