Here’s what Vice Ganda replied to people complaining about the low offer in their show.
It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda has this to say to the critics who complained about low money offers in their show’s “Laro Laro Pick” segment.
For over a decade, the noontime show It’s Showtime has been airing and has passed through struggles and obstacles. Over the course of its run, it has changed several lives through the financial prizes the show is giving away, but recently, critics pointed out something in the new segment.

“Laro Laro Pick” is one of the newest segments on It’s Showtime, and as of this writing, it boasts a major prize of ₱600,000.00 as the grand prize. The game follows mechanics similar to popular lotto draws – the jackpot continues to grow each day without a winner, adding more anticipation and thrill for both contestants and viewers.
However, some viewers have raised concerns that the offers do not seem to match the grand prize. They pointed out that the deals given were significantly lower compared to the jackpot, which has already grown to more than half a million pesos.
In a new episode, Vice Ganda explained that they have a certain amount to follow when it comes to making a deal in order to keep the balance of the show. She mentioned that, considering their program’s status has been pretty shaken for years now, they cannot gamble that big every day since other aspects of the program also need to be covered. This is especially true during these times when it has become difficult for them to secure sponsorship.
“Para sa inyo na talak lang ng talak, maliit yun, yung 40k. Pero para sa amin na naghihingalong programa at kompanya, malaki ho samin yun,” she expressed then apologized to those who find their show’s money offers small and tiny.
She added that it is human nature to keep wanting more, especially after becoming accustomed to receiving something that grows larger each time. Vice then added based on the video, “Yung nagbigay sa inyo ng kusa, PHP 40k, nagre-reklamo. Mas mag-reklamo kayo sa nagnakaw sa inyo ng bilyon-bilyon!”
