Amid the buzz, the legal counsel of contractors Curlee and Sarah, Atty. Cornelio Samaniego III spoke about these 12 cars secured by the authority, and according to him, all of these cars were registered and locally purchased. He added that none of the luxury cars of the Discayas were imported and that they were bought from authorized car dealers.

Are the Discayas hiding the vehicles? Based on the legal counsel’s statement, the contractors are not hiding the vehicles. He explained that the cars were being used, while the others were under maintenance and placed in a safe place as a preemptive measure in case of flooding.

He stressed that they are not hiding anything, as the cars were bought legally, and that the allegations are not true.

“Ginagamit ho kasi yung ibang sasakyan.
