Melai Cantiveros’ Kids Ended Up in Hospital During Family Trip
The children of Pinay actress Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco fell ill during what was supposed to be a fun and relaxing family trip.
The family’s supposed fun and relaxing vacation turned into a hospital staycation after Mela and Stela fell ill.
The family was enjoying their time together when Stela suddenly came down with a fever. After a check-up, it was confirmed that she had a urinary tract infection that required immediate medical care.
Just as the family was adjusting to Stela’s condition, her older sister Mela also started feeling unwell and was diagnosed with a sore throat.
Instead of strolling around and making memories outdoors, the two sisters had to spend their time resting in hospital beds. Melai, known for her humorous personality, tried to make the best out of the situation.
She jokingly referred to the twist in their trip as a “vacation turned hospital staycation,” capturing the concern that many parents feel when their children get sick at the most unexpected times.
Despite the sudden change of plans, Melai made sure to stay positive, sharing photos of her children smiling even while in the hospital. She also expressed relief that both Mela and Stela were receiving proper care and were already on the road to recovery. Mela and Stela are now in stable condition.
