Baron Geisler had this unfortunate experience
Actor Baron Geisler shared his bad experience with a contractor in Cebu after the recent issue involving contractors who were allegedly part of alleged anomalies in flood control projects.
The flood control projects, especially in the National Capital Region, became a hot topic following widespread flooding because of heavy rains and typhoons in the past months.
Previously, President Bongbong Marcos had inspected areas where the supposed flood control projects were established. To his dismay, these projects were nowhere to be found.
Just recently, based on the article in Inquirer, Senate President Chiz Escudero talked about the subpoena for the contractors who skipped the first hearing on the alleged anomalies and corruption in various flood control projects, but no one came to the Senate hearing.
In line with this, Baron Geisler shared that he also had an unfortunate experience with a construction company he did not name. The actor shared that the contractor did not follow their deal.
“Pinadalhan namin ng demand letter 3 times or more. Tapos binlock na ako sa FB. Pina sa Diyos ko na lang,” Baron shared.
In the comment section of his post about this experience, the actor shared that this happened two years ago. The contractor, who was linked to a “big-time politician,” did not finish the project.
Baron also shared that he even helped endorse the politician without asking for any payment during the election period.
“Tapos natalo, then yun naisip ko ‘yung pera na buo na binigay namin mag-asawa ginamit sa campaign nila kaso ayun natalo,” he shared. The actor also said that since then, he has not been able to meet those people again.
Baron Geisler said that he and his wife, Jamie Evangelista, have already moved on from that bad experience. They just accepted that they might no possibility that they would get their money back.
“Okay lang si God naman always fights for my battles. Basta happy na kami ngayon ni Jamie so naka-move on na. Kaso may mga ganitong lumalabas so timely lang,” the actor shared, referring to alleged anomalous flood control projects.
