Heart Evangelista talked about joining the fashion industry
Queen of Creative Collaboration, Heart Evangelista, discussed taking a risk during Fashion Week.
Heart has a successful career in the entertainment industry. She is an actress who also did hosting stints and has a lot of endorsement projects over the course of her showbiz career.
Eventually, Heart ventured into the world of fashion. She had a humble beginning in this industry, and she is not shy to admit that she worked hard to be where she is now.
Nowadays, she is considered a global fashion icon. She is always present in Fashion Week shows, and her popularity in this industry continues to flourish.
In a recent interview, based on the article in the Inquirer, Heart Evangelista shared her decision to be in the fashion industry. She shared that she decided to take this path even before Fashion Week became popular, especially in the Philippines, and this is one of the biggest risks she has taken in her life.
However, she highlighted that the result is very rewarding. “Maybe when I took a risk, that was when I went down the least traveled road, and that would be Fashion Week, before people could understand it,” Heart said.
Years ago, the Kapuso star said that being in Fashion Week had uncertainty. However, for her, this was a statement of her freedom, and this was another purpose.
“But then, aside from fashion, there was a bigger purpose, which was to really express yourself in a world where everybody seems to be perfect,” Heart shared.
She has learned to liberate herself, and for her, that was the time when she received all the pouring of blessings. Heart Evangelista explained that receiving rewards or blessings meant that one should also be a blessing to other people.
“You are blessed to be a blessing. Not just financially, but by being kind, nice, paying everything forward, and looking at everybody when you say thank you straight in the eye; that’s very important to make a connection that will last forever,” the Queen of Creative Collaborations said.
Based on the article, Heart was one of the top performers in the Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks 2025. She was ranked as one of the most influential celebrities based on Media Impact Value (MIV).
Launchmetrics released a report in March showing that Heart was the Top Celebrity, landing in the No. 1 spot in the overall landscape ranking of Milan Fashion Week for 2025.
