Ogie Diaz speaks about the issue between two people close to him
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz explained why he remained silent on the issue involving Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda and veteran showbiz insider Cristy Fermin.
As a showbiz talk show host, Cristy would discuss topics and issues about celebrities on her programs, Cristy Ferminute and Showbiz Now Na.
In several instances, she talked about issues involving Vice’s career and love life. Vice has not directly answered the issues against him raised on Cristy’s program, but sometimes, in his shows and concerts, he would do “patutsada.”

In a recent concert of Vice Ganda with Regine Velasquez, the comedian-host mentioned Cristy Fermin. He said that the showbiz insider would not like it that his friends MC Muah and Lassy were there at the concert because it would debunk the rumored rift between them.
With the Vice-Cristy conflict, Ogie Diaz, who also does showbiz commentaries on his YouTube show Showbiz Update, shared the reason why he is not speaking about this issue.
He said that Cristy is like a mother to him. The showbiz insider was the one who helped him start his career in showbiz. Ogie said that when it comes to “utang na loob,” he owes a lot ot Cristy.
However, Vice became Ogie’s friend. As a talent manager, Vice was Ogie’s first talent. Their manager-talent relationship lasted for five years, but they remained friends even after that.

“Yun nga ang tanong sa akin, bakit daw hindi ako nagsasalita tungkol sa issue? Kasi gusto kong ipagtanggol si Ate Cristy, sasabihin naman ng mga tao, ‘Uy naging alaga mo rin si Vice Ganda, baka nakakalimutan mo,’ di ba?” Ogie said.
With this, he asked, “Saan ko ilulugar ang sarili ko?” Ogie Diaz added that he can do nothing if the script prompts Vice to say those things at the concert. For him, whatever joke was said, whether it was offensive or not, as long as people laughed, then it was a joke.
