Female College Student Reaching Out Help for Classmate to Continue Her Study
A female college student is reaching out to the public in hopes of helping her friend continue her studies.
Recently, Patricia Ysabel Enriquez, a third-year student from Carlos Hilado Memorial State University – Talisay Campus, made an appeal online to support her classmate, Edelyn Duqueza. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
According to Patricia, Edelyn is facing financial struggles that are keeping her from moving forward in school. Because of unpaid dues at her previous school, Edelyn cannot claim her report card for her enrollment in the next academic year. Without this, she won’t be able to continue her college education.

Enriquez shared that Edelyn comes from a humble background. Her father works as a tricycle driver, while her mother stays at home to take care of the family. Despite their limited income, Edelyn has been doing her best to stay in school and chase her dreams.
Wanting to help, Patricia posted a heartfelt message on social media asking for any amount of financial assistance to help cover the P18,000 balance needed to release Edelyn’s school records.
“So we humbly ask for your hearts to send us any amount to aid her needs. Especially with the minimal earnings of her father as a tricycle driver and her mother as housewife. They need our love for Edelyn to pursue her future,” Enriquez wrote.

The female college student emphasized that their class only has one section under their program, and they don’t want anyone to be left behind. They also assured transparency with any donations received, saying that receipts and updates will be provided to those who lend a hand.
For Patricia, helping a friend in need is proof that compassion, no matter how small, can change lives. Those who wish to help can send donations through Edelyn’s GCash account.
