Palace declares walang pasok and government work suspensions on Wednesday, July 23.
WALANG PASOK JULY 23, 2025 – Malacanang has suspended classes and government work in these areas due to the southwest monsoon.
The southwest monsoon, or habagat, has been bringing heavy rains, submerging several areas across the country. This has prompted local government units (LGUs) to suspend classes on Wednesday, July 23.

However, following the earlier announcements from the LGUs, the Palace has already approved the suspension of classes in all levels and government work for Wednesday in these areas:
- Metro Manila
- Pangasinan
- Ilocos Norte
- Ilocos Sur
- La Union
- Abra
- Mountain Province
- Ifugao, Benguet
- Nueva Vizcaya
- Nueva Ecija
- Zambales
- Tarlac
- Bataan
- Pampanga

- Laguna
- Batangas
- Rizal
- Quezon
- Occidental Mindoro
- Oriental Mindoro
