WALANG PASOK JULY 22, 2025 – Some areas announced class suspensions on Tuesday due to expected persistent rains.

The southwest monsoon and two low-pressure areas in the Philippine Area of Responsibility will bring persistent rains. In the past days, several parts of the country have been drenched and submerged due to continuous rains.

An orange rainfall warning has also been issued over Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, and Rizal.

Due to this, the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) declared class suspensions in the following areas as recommended by the Office of Civil Defense and Cabinet:

  • Metro Manila
  • Zambales
  • Bataan
  • Pampanga
  • Bulacan
  • Cavite
  • Batangas
  • Rizal
  • Pangasinan
  • Tarlac
  • Occidental Mindoro

Several local government units also announced class suspensions in separate advisories.

Region I (Ilocos)

  • Pangasinan
    • Calasiao – all levels, public and private

Region III (Central Luzon)

  • Bulacan
  • Pampanga
    • San Simon – all levels, public and private; in-person only
    • Sto. Tomas – all levels, public and private; in-person only

Region IV-A (Calabarzon)

  • Cavite
    • General Emilio Aguinaldo – all levels, public and private
    • Alfonso – all levels, public and private; in-person only
    • Indang – all levels, public and private
