Motovlogger Cherry White Surrenders Driver’s License to LTO
The female motovlogger Cherry White has surrendered her driver’s license after a reckless driving incident.
On Friday, July 18, 2025, Cherry White, whose real name is Cherrylyn Gonzaga, officially surrendered her driver’s license to the Land Transportation Office (LTO). It came after she attended a hearing related to a reckless driving case filed against her.
The issue began when a video of her driving went viral online. In the video, Cherry was seen casually behind the wheel with one leg up on the driver’s seat, which many netizens found unsafe and irresponsible.

LTO immediately acts and suspends Cherry’s license for 90 days. The vehicle she used in the viral video was also placed under alarm status. The LTO issued a show cause order and requested that she explain her side and comply with the necessary steps to address the incident.
During the hearing, Cherry admitted her mistake and apologized for her actions. She also promised to be more responsible in the future, especially when creating content that involves driving and road safety.
“We in the LTO appreciate the humility on the part of Ms Cherry White. As a popular social media personality, we hope that we would find an ally in her in promoting road safety,” Assistant Secretary and LTO Chief, Atty. Greg G. Pua, Jr. said.

The LTO, in turn, gave Cherry and her camp until July 21 to submit all the required documents related to the car featured in the video. Authorities emphasized the importance of accountability, especially for influencers whose actions can impact a wide audience.
Cherry’s surrender of her license and public apology reflect her willingness to make amends.
