The controversy began when photos of their grand five-foot cake by Honey Glaze Cake started circulating, with several blogs and social media pages falsely claiming it cost millions. The lavish cake—covered in shimmering crystal fondant—undoubtedly looked extravagant, fueling the speculation. However, Zeinab clarified that although the cake was indeed luxurious in appearance, the price tag was far more reasonable.
“Hindi po totoo yan, dahil sobrang sayang naman. Napakaganda ng cake. Lumabas online na yung million. Pero ang totoong presyo niyan, mahal, tell them,” Zeinab said, turning to her husband.
Ray Parks then shared the actual figure: “PHP120,000 lang po. Very beautiful, but very affordable naman.”
In a separate video, Zeinab further reacted to the inflated price rumor with her signature humor and candor. “Kasi two million yung lumabas, e. Ang OA naman nun! PHP120K lang sis, ang layo,” she exclaimed.
