Ruffa Gutierrez had an early birthday celebration with her closest friends
Actress Ruffa Gutierrez revealed the reason why she and her friend celebrity vlogger Mariel Padilla had an “iyakan” at her birthday party.
Ruffa held an advance birthday party with her closest friends a few days before her actual birthday on June 24. Based on the photos that Ruffa shared on her Instagram page, it was an intimate party.
Aside from Mariel, Ruffa’s birthday party was also joined by showbiz personalities Karla Estrada, Vina Morales, Bianca Manalo, Janice de Belen, Sunshine Cruz, Marjorie Barretto, Almira Muhlach, and fitness enthusiast, Tanya Semerad.
In a recent article by Abante entertainment writer Jun Lalin, he shared that there was a moment at the birthday party when Ruffa Gutierrez and Mariel Padilla were having an emotional conversation.
Lalin said that speculations surfaced that it had something to do with Mariel’s husband Senator Robin Padilla. To recall, in a recent interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Ruffa revealed that the Senator was one of her ex-boyfriends.
Ruffa said that Mariel knew about this and the reason why they were crying at the party was their kids. “Nakakaloka naman. We were talking about our daughters. Tapos naiyak na lang kami. Nothing to do with Robin,” the actress said.
Then, Ruffa said that she loves Mariel. “She’s beautiful inside and out. And never siyang na-insecure. She’s so nice. A real friend!” she said. Mariel is one of her closest friends and Robin is a family friend.
Ruffa Gutierrez stressed that the past is past and there is no need for people to create intrigue.
Meanwhile, during the FTWBA interview, Ruffa shared the status of her relationship with actor Herbert Bautista. She revealed that they are going through a tough time now and they haven’t talked to each other for a while.
