Boy Tapang Voluntarily Surrenders to Authorities After Arrest Warrant Issued
BOY TAPANG – The popular Pinoy vlogger Ronie Suan voluntarily surrendered to authorities after an arrest warrant was issued.
On Friday (May 30, 2025), Boy Tapang has voluntarily surrendered to authorities following the release of an arrest warrant for a violation of the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 (RA 9262).
Suan from Barangay Daanlungsod in Alcoy, Cebu, was served the arrest warrant around 12:15 PM along JD Veyra Street in Barangay Carreta, Cebu City. The operation was led by the City Intelligence Unit of the Cebu City Police Office under PCapt Christopher Irwin Sanchez.

The case against him involves a reported violation of RA 9262, which is meant to protect women and children from abuse and violence. The arrest warrant was issued by Judge Maria Ella Cecilia Dimaandal Dumlao-Escalante of the Regional Trial Court Branch 143 in Cainta, Rizal, last May 26, 2025.
Suan did not resist arrest and turned himself in peacefully. The court has allowed him to post bail amounting to P72,000 for his temporary release while the case proceeds.
His arrest was carried out as part of the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO), which is currently being implemented across Central Visayas. The program aims to target individuals with pending warrants and ensure community safety.
