Jake Cuenca talked about his relationship with Rabiya Mateo
Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca revealed what he likes about his girlfriend, Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo.
In March, Jake and Rabiya created a buzz on social media after their photos together at a restaurant circulated online. Eventually, it was confirmed that they are dating, and they started having their sweet interactions on social media.
Previously, Rabiya said that Jake is “the best.” In a recent interview on Bilyonaryo News Channel, the actor expressed how proud he is of his girlfriend.
It is known to many showbiz fans that Jake Cuenca’s breakup with actress Chie Filomeno was quite controversial, as the latter was accused of leaving the actor to be with businessman Matthew Lhuillier.
During the BNC interview, Jake shared that his work helped him moved on. He barely had time to relax because he was working on two projects at the same time.
“I had a really busy schedule for about a year and a half, I was filming two shows at the same time,” the actor shared.
However, when his hectic schedule was over and he wanted to rest, Rabiya Mateo came into his life. “Timing of life is just perfect. I finally meet the person that I really, really am into and now I have time to spend time with her,” Jake Cuenca shared.
The actor also didn’t hide what he admires most about his girlfriend. “Aside from her being very beautiful, it’s her dedication also to her dreams,” proud niyang sabi.
Jake also mentioned Rabiya’s plan to attend med school at the University of Santo Tomas. He said that for now, Rabiya is closing the door in showbusiness to go to med school in UST, and for him, this is something incredible for me.
“Med school, that’s a mountain to climb and I find that remarkable,” he said
Jake was teased about the possibility of him and Rabiya getting married, but he just laughed and said, “Not yet.”
The actor shared that all his past relationships were a big factor in making him a more mature and better version of himself for Rabiya.
“I think all those past experiences were life lessons that have brought me to this point, and I am now the best version of myself for this person,” the Kapamilya actor said.
