Arci Muñoz Accepts Life Without a Partner But Still Dreams of Having a Child
ARCI MUÑOZ – In a candid interview, Arci Muñoz shared that she is now embracing the possibility of becoming a mother even without a partner.
Filipina actress Arci Muñoz recently opened up in an interview with Karen Davila about her evolving views on love, marriage, and motherhood. At 37, she admitted that while many women her age are building families, she still finds herself single and uncertain about dating.
Despite this, she remains open to becoming a mother and has seriously considered having children on her own. Her candid remarks quickly drew attention online as she reflected on her personal choices and priorities.

She shared that she has long thought about motherhood even without a partner, joking about her situation. “But I do want (na magka-anak), I always think na magpa-anak na lang kaya ako, ha, ha, ha,” Arci laughed and told Karen Davila in an interview on her YouTube channel. She admitted she has not yet frozen her eggs because she focused more on her career in earlier years.
She also joked about not actively dating at the moment: “I’m not dating now, I don’t know because probably wala nang matinong lalaki charot,” she said, laughing. Still, she is now considering egg freezing and values time with her nieces and nephews, who bring her happiness.
She reflected on acceptance and faith, saying she has surrendered her plans to God and is more at peace with the possibility of being single. “I guess I really just let go and let God parang I don’t actually pray for that anymore. Ipnagdadasal ko na lang, ‘Lord, actually kung hindi talaga ako meant to have someone like a partner in my life, that’s fine’ s sabi ko. I kinda like accepted it like with my age (now), I’m 37.”

She also looked back on her past relationship with Badi del Rosario, son of Prince Jefri Bolkiah, describing it as her “first love” and a time when she prioritized her career during her breakout in Pasion de Amor.
She admitted that she once chose career over love and that her relationship with Badi was her biggest heartbreak. “Yes it was parang after that I didn’t love anyone that way, parang hindi na. Ewan ko, hindi ko alam kung may explanation to that na parang you loved someone that much na parang ang hirap nang magmahal ulit ng ganu’n level? Meron bang explanation?”
She later said she believes people come and go, and she continues to dream big.
When asked about her current goals, she surprisingly said she now wants marriage and even dreams of meeting BTS in person, adding humorously that her ideal partner is Chinese-looking.
