Palace press undersecretary Claire Castro stressed that the work of the senators are for the people and not for their personal interest.

The Malacañang press officer also said that Pres. Bongbong Marcos welcomes the election winners regardless of which political color they came from to unite and address the needs of the people.

Based on the report, Atty. Claire Castro said the Marcos admin expects the presence of the legit members of the opposition. However, the Palace also warned that it will fight the ‘self-centered obstructionists’.

According to the Palace official, the legitimate oppositionists fight for the welfare of the Filipino people while the obstructionists do nothing but destroy the government and will not see any positive in the actions of the government. The obstructionists are allegedly just after their own interest.

Following the 2025 Elections, Pres. Bongbong Marcos thanked the Filipino people who voted. According to him, while not all the candidates of the Alyansa made it to the Top 12, their work and mission continue.
