Statement of Malacañang on VP Sara Duterte’s Claim about ICC List
Malacañang was asked to comment on the claim of Vice President Sara Duterte that her name is included in the ICC list of personalities who might be arrested.
Vice Pres. Duterte immediately flew to The Hague, Netherlands after her father was flown for the transfer of his custody to the International Criminal Court. According to her, aside from the fact that she’s a lawyer, she’s the only one in their family with a Schengen Visa.

Before leaving The Hague after more than a three-week stay abroad, Vice Pres. Duterte finalized the ICC legal team of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. The former President is faced with an allegation of crimes against humanity before the ICC.
Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that her name is included on the ICC list of personalities who might be arrested. According to her, there are allegedly a lot of names in the said list and she even revealed some of the other names there.

According to Vice Pres. Duterte, Sen. Bato dela Rosa’s name is allegedly on the ICC list of personalities who might be arrested. The Vice President claimed that dela Rosa’s name is ahead of hers and there are several other names that are ahead of hers.

Malacañang was asked for its comment on the claim of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte about her alleged inclusion in the ICC list of personalities it investigates. Based on a report on Inquirer, Palace press officer Atty. Claire Castro said they have nothing to say about it. The Palace also denied dealing with the ICC.
“Wala po kaming masasabi patungkol po diyan and we’re not dealing directly with the ICC,” the press officer of Malacañang said.

Vice Pres. Duterte also claimed that the names of former PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde, former Police General Vicente Danao Jr., and Police Major General Romeo Caramat Jr. were also allegedly on the list. Based on the report, the press officer of Malacañang also claimed that they have no any information from the ICC.
“Wala po tayong anumang impormasyon mula sa ICC,” Castro said.
Recently, amid the election campaign period, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte lambastes the “Bagong Pilipinas” slogan of the Marcos administration. She claimed that nothing changed in the country and the people are allegedly getting hungrier.
