Woman Got Robbed While Eating Burger Outside Store in Parañaque
A woman enjoying a simple meal outside a burger shop got robbed in Parañaque while sitting outside the store.
Around 2 AM in the morning, a suspicious man could be seen lurking behind her, watching her closely. As soon as she started eating, he made his move. Approaching her quickly, he pressed a knife against her side and demanded her belongings.
The woman, fearing for her safety, had no choice but to hand over her bag. The suspect wasted no time and escaped as soon as he got what he wanted. Left in shock, the victim immediately sought help. The store attendant quickly let her inside for safety.
According to Nicole Andrade, the victim’s sister, the stolen bag contained valuable items, including jewelry given by their mother, two mobile phones, and P3,000 in cash.
The victim reported the incident to the police, who were able to identify the suspect right away. Surveillance footage captured the man’s face clearly, making it easy for authorities to recognize him.
Upon reviewing wanted posters, the victim confirmed that the suspect strongly resembled someone on the list.
“May ipinakitang pictures ng mga wanted, mayroon doon isang lalaki na kamukhang-kamukha niya talaga at namukhaan din ng kapatid ko,” Nicole said.
Police revealed that the man had been in and out of jail multiple times and had been evading capture. Although they eventually located his hideout, the stolen items were never recovered. The suspect had reportedly already sold the mobile phones.
Despite the loss, Nicole remains grateful that her sister was safe. Though the experience was frightening, the most important thing is that the victim is safe. The family now hopes for justice and that authorities will finally put an end to the suspect’s criminal activities.
