Dog Shot Five Times w/ Indian Arrows Rescued
A dog named TikTok was shot five times with Indian arrows in Hda. Puyas, Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
The heartbreaking incident has sparked outrage, with many calling for justice for the innocent dog.
Animal welfare group BACH Project PH immediately responded upon learning about the incident. Their team rushed to the location to rescue TikTok and transport him to a veterinary clinic for urgent medical care. He underwent surgery and is now under close monitoring.
To aid his recovery, TikTok has received anti-tetanus shots, antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medicine, and pain relief. Additionally, he will undergo laser therapy for seven days to help his deep wounds heal faster and reduce inflammation.
Concerned citizens have stepped forward to seek justice for TikTok. Initially, an anonymous donor offered P10,000 for information leading to the identification of the suspect. The reward has since increased to P65,000, with Senator JV Ejercito contributing P15,000.
One individual has even offered an additional P5,000 and an iPhone XR. The gaming video creator Hypebits also offered a P100,000 reward.
Authorities and animal welfare advocates are urging anyone with information about the suspect to come forward. The goal is to ensure accountability and prevent further acts of cruelty.
Meanwhile, supporters are also encouraged to help with TikTok’s medical expenses. Donations, big or small, will go a long way in his recovery. BACH Project PH continues to provide updates on his condition, hoping he will fully heal soon.
