Authorities Arrest LGBT Motorcycle Theft Suspect in Palawan
An LGBT motorcycle theft suspect at Puerto Princesa in Taytay, Palawan was arrested and now in police custody.
Motorcycle theft is the crime of stealing a motorcycle. It typically involves someone taking a motorcycle without the owner’s permission, often with the intent to sell it or use it for personal gain.
Thieves may target motorcycles that are left unattended in public spaces, poorly secured, or parked in areas where they can easily escape with the stolen vehicle.
Recently, the Facebook page We R1 At Your Service Official reported that an LGBT motorcycle theft suspect was arrested inside a lodging house in Barangay Liminangcong. The incident happened around midnight on Wednesday (January 29, 2025).
Authorities identified the suspect as Letus Fernandez, a member of the LGBTQ community. The arrest was made by the Anti-Crime Task Force on the morning of January 30 along Fernandez Street in Puerto Princesa City.
The police tracked down the suspect after CCTV footage from the lodging house was shared online. The photos clearly showed the moment the motorcycle was taken. With the public’s help, law enforcement was able to locate and apprehend Fernandez.
Further investigation is now ongoing, and the suspect will face charges related to the theft. Authorities continue to remind the public to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities to prevent similar crimes.
