This is why ABS-CBN Christmas ID 2024 is the longest yet of the media company.
ABS-CBN CHRISTMAS ID 2024 – This year’s Christmas ID is accordingly their longest yet and this is the reason why.
“Our Stories Shine This Christmas” is the theme of this year’s ABS-CBN Christmas ID and these stories have touched countless hearts. These are big and extraordinary stories of ordinary Filipinos.
“This year, gaya ng dati, ayaw natin na tungkol sa atin ang station ID. Tungkol ito sa mga karaniwang tao na may magagandang kwento. Talagang ‘di natin mapigilan ma-honor ang mga kuwento nila. Lalo na ngayon, sunod-sunod ang bagyo, so hino-honor natin ang mga Pilipino na lumalaban sa anumang bagyo ng buhay.”
– ABS-CBN Head of Creative Communication Management Robert Labayen
Some of the stars included in this year’s Christmas ID are Megastar Sharon Cuneta, Julia Montes, Sam Milby, Jodi Sta. Maria, Kathryn Bernardo, “It’s Okay Not To Be Okay” such as Anne Curtis, Joshua Garcia, and Carlo Aquino, Daniel Padilla and other “Incognito” stars, hosts of It’s Showtime, Sarah Geronimo, Ogie Alcasid, Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, Angeline Quinto, Erik Santos, Yeng Constantino, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Kim Chiu, Darren Espanto, Bamboo, Regine Velasquez, Piolo Pascual, and Coco Martin.
According to ABS-CBN, this year is their longest yet at 25 minutes and 23 seconds. Initially, it was not intended to be this long but with the intention to include everyone, it resulted in this length.
They wanted to pour everything into this ID and this year was their opportunity and so, they did. Moreover, the presentation of the artists, subjects, and stories is beautiful to be cut and they want to center the ID to honor our fellow Filipinos as their stories are worth sharing.
These stories are essential because, without them, the ID will just be merely a song, not a Christmas anthem. Also, another contributing factor was their featured brand partners.
The goal was not to go viral, generate more views, or surpass their past records but to share love, inspiration, and hope.
