Herlene Budol shared her experience working with Mon Confiado
Kapuso actress Herlene Budol admitted that she felt “takot” to award-winning actor Mon Confiado and he reacted to this.
Herlene has come a long way since she started her career in showbiz. From being a studio contestant in Willie Revillame’s show, she became a co-host. Through that, other opportunities opened for her.
Aside from acting, Herlene also ventured into pageants. As a beauty queen, she added a new flavor to pageantry.
Then, she was given a chance to be managed by Sparkle GMA Artist Center. She continues doing acting stints in the Kapuso network. One of the recent acting projects that she did was in an episode of Tadhana.
In this episode, she worked with Mon Confiado who is known for portraying villain roles very well. During Herlene’s recent guesting on GTV’s Lutong Bahay, she was asked by host Mikee Quintos who among her past co-stars she does not want to work with in the future.
Herlene said that there was no co-star who she did not want to work with anymore. However, she mentioned Mon because of how he portrayed his role in their Tadhana episode.
The actress revealed that the fear she felt during their scenes felt so real. “Grabe sobrang galing niya, talagang tinakot niya ako, pero gusto ko pa rin siyang makatrabaho…” she said.
Herlene also said that for her, Mon is the best antagonist actor she worked with because she really was nervous while doing their scenes. The actor shared a post about this on his Facebook page.
He appreciated what the actress said about him. “Thank you,” Mon Confiado said and Herlene Budol answered, “Salamat din po sir Mon Confiado galing nyopo talaga!!!!!” The actor said that the actress is also “magaling” and he is looking forward to having a project with her in the future.
