Rhian Ramos has a new movie that tackles unconditional love
Kapuso actress Rhian Ramos explained why she believes that romantic love is transactional.
Rhian is currently promoting her new movie Unconditional with actor Allen Dizon which is directed by Adolf Alix Jr. Last month, her movie Huwag Mo Kong Iwan with JC de Vera and Tom Rodriguez was released.
Just recently, based on the article in ABS-CBN News, this is an LGBT-themed romantic comedy film. It is written by Jerry Gracio and executive produced by Brandon Ramirez of BR Film Productions.
In an interview, Rhian Ramos shared that unconditional love is what parents give to their children. However, she said that she believes that romantic love is transactional.
“May mga romantic love na unconditional love siya sa ibang bagay pero at the end of the day may conditions tayo sa mga romantic partner natin. Naniniwala talaga ako na love —especially romantic love — is transactional and conditional to an extent,”she said.
The Kapuso star also shared that so far, this is the most interesting character that she has portrayed and it is because this features gender identities and preferences. This also tackles the concept of being “woke.”
She said that the term “woke” is being widely used and she also wants to explore this concept. The actress also mentioned that she wanted to further understand “s+xuality” because being gay alone has a lot of preferences.
Meanwhile, the actress said that her busy 2024 with several films is tiring. “Sa totoo lang, nakaka-haggard na,” she quipped.
However, Rhian Ramos that these are blessings and no one knows when they will come. “It’s up to you to recognize the opportunity and take it for yourself. This is my last movie of this year. Puwede ko na talagang i-announce na last na this year,” she said.
The actress is happy with her relationship now with Tutok To Win Representative Sam Verzosa. She is very supportive of his political career even though she initially had a different reaction when her boyfriend decided to run for Manila Mayor.
