“Hello, Love, Again”, the KathDen movie, achieved these record-breaking achievements.
KATHDEN MOVIE – According to an update, “Hello, Love, Again” reached Php 1.4B gross globally, and here are the achievements of the film.
Celebrities Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards have reprised their roles as Joy and Ethan in the sequel to “Hello, Love, Goodbye”, the “Hello, Love, Again”. This much-anticipated film, throughout its showing, has made history and record-breaking achievements.
According to an update, after it became the highest-grossing Filipino movie of all time overtaking “Rewind” by Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, it became the first Filipino film to earn Php 1.4 billion at the global box office, as of December 1.
It crossed Php 1 billion at the local box office and more than $7 million from international screenings.
Meanwhile, here are the achievements of this film:
- Biggest opening day earnings at Php 85 million on November 13.
- Biggest single-day gross at Php 131 million on November 16.
- First Filipino film to break into the US Top 10 box office at Number 8.
- Biggest opening weekend at Php 492 million.
- First local film to cross the Php 900 million mark in gross.
- First local film to cross the Php 1 billion mark in gross.
- Officially on November 22, it became the highest-grossing Filipino movie of all time.
- It is the highest opening weekend gross for a Filipino film in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Oman, earning $1.4 million in just one week.
This film is produced by ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema and GMA Pictures and, at the same time, the closing film at the recently concluded Asian World Film Festival held in Los Angeles, California.
Cathy Garcia-Sampana directed “Hello, Love, Again” which is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster movie “Hello, Love, Goodbye”. The other stars included in the film are Jennica Garcia, Joross Gamboa, Valerie Concepcion, Kevin Kreider, Jobert Austria, Mark Labella, Marvin Aritrangco, and Ruby Rodriguez.
