Male Student Reposts Video About How His Parents Sent Him Spaghetti Although He Is Miles Away
A male student went viral and sparked comments online after reposting a video about how his parents sent him spaghetti.
Recently, Darkvray, a TikTok user, shared a video about how his parents sent him spaghetti after joking that he wanted it. The post immediately spread like wildfire on social media and garnered various reactions from the online community.
A male student from Sudipen, La Union got a little taste of home, thanks to his thoughtful parents.
Jermyke Apanapao Lopez, a college student living away from home, jokingly mentioned he’d love to have some of his mom’s spaghetti. It’s one of his favorites, and he probably didn’t think much of it. But his parents took him seriously.
“Alam niya (mama) po kasing favorite naming magkapatid ang specialty niyang spaghetti kaya nagpadala… pati rin po sa kapatid ko,” Lopez said.
Before he knew it, his dad was dropping off a portion of his mom’s specialty spaghetti at the terminal, making sure Jermyke could enjoy her cooking even though he was far away. Jermyke and his sibling, both away for college, still get these delicious reminders of home, and he couldn’t be happier.

The little things like this that make him feel connected and lucky. Even though he’s miles away, he’s reminded of how much his parents care. Knowing that his parents go out of their way just to make him feel “included” makes all the difference.
“Ang saya… kahit wala po kaming dalawa sa bahay, we feel included and swerte po kaming nakakatikim ng luto ni mama kahit malayo po sila ni papa,” he added.
