Michael V had a reunion with the former cast members of ‘Bubble Gang’
Seasoned comedian Michael V talked about his collaboration with Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda on the longest-running gag show Bubble Gang.
The Kapuso gag show has been on air for three decades already. It introduced characters that have become part of the Philippine culture.
Bitoy and his co-stars have introduced characters who are loved by their avid viewers for 30 years already. Over the years, cast members come and go, but one remained constant, and that is Bitoy.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Michael V shared how delighted he was when he and the former cast members of Bubble Gang had a reunion.
The grand 30th anniversary concert of the show was held last October 5. Former cast members such as Diana Zubiri, Ara Mina, Maureen Larrazabal, and Mikoy Morales. where present.
Valeen Montenegro, Arra San Agustin, Faye Lorenzo, Juancho Trivino, and Alma Concepcion also joined them. Bitoy admitted that he was emotional seeing them all.
“Nung nandidito na muntik na akong bumigay, na-miss ko talaga sila e. I miss working with them, kahit ‘yung simpleng pagkain lang with them sa dressing room. Nakaka-miss ‘yung mga ganun experience,” the seasoned comedian said.
The show is set to have its anniversary special on October 19 and 26, and one of the special guests is Vice Ganda. A few days ago, the It’s Showtime host hinted at his appearance on the Kapuso gag show. His and Bitoy’s fans expressed excitement for this.
“Nakakatuwa pareho kami ng wish at parehong natupad ito sa ‘Bubble Gang’ and hopefully ito ‘yung simula at hindi ito ‘yung wakas.” Michael V said. Vice had been vocal about his wish to work with the Kapuso comedian.
Meanwhile, BBG cast members Paolo Contis and Kokoy de Santos expressed how thankful they are to be part of the Kapuso gag show.
“We are very thankful sa GMA, kasi alam mo naman ang Bubble [Gang]. May mga times ‘yan na puwede bumaba, puwede tumaas. We are very thankful sa GMA na hindi nila kami pinababayaan, they find ways na they make sure na Bubble stays relevant. At tsaka ngayon, patapang kami nang patapang,” Paolo said.
Kokoy added that he is really happy to be part of Bubble. He is also thankful to GMA and it made him happy that the show is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
