James Reid made a clarification about his relationship with Issa Pressman
Actor-recording artist James Reid reacted to the allegation that his girlfriend Issa Pressman stole him from his ex-girlfriend Nadine Lustre.
James and Nadine’s breakup broke the hearts of many JaDine fans. Their years together as reel and real-life partners blossomed in front of their supporters.
Following the JaDine breakup, fans and netizens talked about the closeness between James and Issa. Photos and videos of them together circulated on social media.
With this, some fans accussed Issa of being “mang-aagaw.” However, in a recent interview on the YouTube channel of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, James Reid made a clarification about this.
The actor shared that this issue made him depressed as people were accusing his girlfriend. He was asked about the relationship he had now with Nadine. James said that they have no problem and it is just fans who are creating issues.
He also said that after his relationship with Nadine, he had a relationship with someone else but he did not reveal who it was.
“It’s just the fans have a way of creating rumors and all of this stuff. Saying that like, inagaw or whatever, which makes no sense because I dated someone after Nadine anyway. Don’t ask me who,” he said.
For James, this does not make sense and some are just fond of making up their own stories. The actor also said that he is trying his best to live a life that he is proud of so he can sleep at night and focus on what he does.
James also hoped that people would move on because they could see that they were happy.
Regarding the noise after announcing his relationship with Issa, James said that it was a difficult year for them, as well as, for Nadine. Witnessing the bashing online, especially towards his girlfriend, he said that it was “nakaka-depress.”
