This is why Carla Abellana got hospitalized before.
Kapuso actress Carla Abellana revealed the real reason in an interview why she had been hospitalized several days before.
The reason why it is important to listen to our body whenever we feel like there’s something wrong is to avoid further complications. Last August, actress Carla Abellana was hospitalized and this happened amid her work in “Widow’s War” with Bea Alonzo.
In a previous article, Abellana shared she was in a hospital but did not disclose the real reason why. She just shared that she was “in so much pain and discomfort”. She was admitted at the Diliman Doctor’s hospital and she was crying and praying for healing.
Why was she hospitalized?
During a recent interview, she was asked about this and that was when she revealed the truth. In Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” Thursday, she said that she was confined for three days. She had complications such as kidney stones and urinary tract infection (UTI). She almost got sepsis but now, she’s cleared now.
After three days of being in a hospital, she begged to go home because she missed her dogs and she also had work to do. Carla said, “Thankfully pinayagan naman akong umuwi.”
As much as we all know, kidney stones can be possibly caused by obesity, not drinking enough water, and eating too much salty or sweet food. As for sepsis, this happens when the organs cease to function properly as a result of an out-of-control immune response to infection.
In the same interview, she was asked about the widespread buzz about Aspins. As an animal advocate, she expressed that no matter what the breed, all dogs must be respected and loved. Aspins, especially, the local dog, is something she believes people must be most proud of.
In a previous article, Carla called out “pet-friendly” establishments to not be selective when it comes to animals. She reminded them not to advertise their restaurant as “pet-friendly” if what they are is actually breed-particular.
