Former Mayor Alice Guo Now Back in PH from Indonesia
ALICE GUO – The actual arrest of the former Bamban, Tarlac Mayor at her rented apartment in Indonesia was captured in video.
Former Mayor Alice Guo was arrested in Indonesia after the international authorities were alerted about her charges in the Philippines. She reportedly left the Philippines last July and made her first stop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Guo reportedly moved to Singapore from Malaysia and then to Indonesia where she was arrested by the authorities. Prior to her arrest, her supposed sister, Shiela Guo, and Cassandra Li Ong who is also facing allegations of POGO involvement in the Philippines were arrested by the Indonesian authorities.
Shiela and Cassandra were sent back to the Philippines. The supposed sister of Alice was sent to the Senate while Cassandra was sent to the House of Representatives. Shiela claimed that Alice is not her sister.
Cassandra also denied being involved in the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming operations in the country. According to her, she only knows Alice because of Wesley who she claims her boyfriend.
A few days after Shiela Guo and Cassandra Guo were sent back to the Philippines, the Indonesian authorities arrested former Mayor Alice Guo. Recently, the actual video of the arrest of the former Mayor in Indonesia was posted by journalist Raoul Esperas on Facebook:
The Indonesian authorities have turned over the former Mayor to the Philippine authorities. Alice Guo arrived in the Philippines through a private hangar in Pasay City and she was brought to Camp Crame where she will be detained while she has yet to post bail for the graft and corruption charges filed against her.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) assured that there will be no special treatment for Guo and she will not be allowed to use gadgets while she is detained in Camp Crame. According to the PNP, she cannot be transferred to the Senate unless she has posted bail for the graft and corruption cases against her.
