Tricycle Driver Expresses Thoughts Against Job Discrimination
A tricycle driver recently went viral online after sharing his thoughts on how some people belittle his job.
Recently, Guardario Gotual, a Facebook user, expressed his feelings in a heartfelt post, addressing the common misconception that tricycle drivers earn very little. The post quickly circulated online and elicited reactions from the netizens.
In his post, Guardario acknowledged that tricycle drivers may earn less compared to those with jobs in air-conditioned offices, but he emphasized that their work is different. Unlike an 8-hour office job, driving a tricycle requires continuous effort.
The income they bring home depends entirely on their hard work and determination. He pointed out that if a driver is lazy, they won’t earn enough, but if they hustle, they can provide well for their families.
With enough effort, they can even afford little luxuries like ice cream, pizza, and donuts for their loved ones.
The hardworking man also emphasized the challenges tricycle drivers face daily. Whether under the scorching sun or in heavy rain, they travel through traffic, avoiding large vehicles just to safely transport their passengers to their destinations.
Guardario called for respect for tricycle drivers, noting that people often don’t realize how tough their job can be. He extended his salute to fellow tricycle drivers, encouraging them to be patient with those who look down on their work.
The latter urged them to take pride in their job, as it is what puts food on their tables and provides for their families.
