Why AJ Raval No Longer Wants To Do S*xy Projects
AJ RAVAL – Former s*xy actress AJ Raval became emotional as she reflected on her controversial “hubadera era” and the lessons she learned from it.
AJ Raval admitted that she has regrets about taking on daring roles in films and series during the height of her career as a Vivamax star. Despite this, the actress said she has also learned valuable lessons from those experiences that helped shape her perspective today.
During a recent appearance on the TV show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, hosted by Boy Abunda, AJ openly discussed her past projects and the realizations she gained from them.
She said, “Wala na po akong magagawa, Tito Boy. Nagawa ko na. Pero ang maganda po do’n, marami po akong natutunan.”
The actress explained that while she cannot change what she has already done, she now looks at those experiences as lessons she can pass on to her children in the future.
“Nagawa ko na po ‘to. Hindi na po siya gagawin ng mga anak ko,” she added.
Boy Abunda then praised the actress for turning her experiences into wisdom for the next generation.
Tito Boy said, “Napakaganda no’n. ‘Yong leksyon nilipat mo sa mga anak mo. Ang galing.”
Because of this realization, AJ revealed that she no longer plans to accept s*xy roles, especially now that she is already a mother. She also shared that her partner, Aljur Abrenica, supports her decision to move away from such projects.
“As a partner,” she said, “rerespetuhin ko si Aljur na magdedesisyon ako na kung ano ‘yong hindi ko dapat gawin.”
It can be recalled that AJ had already hinted at the end of her “hubadera era” during an interview back in August 2024. Since then, she has expressed interest in exploring more diverse acting roles that would allow her to showcase a different side of her talent.
At present, AJ wants to challenge herself in various genres of acting. She also discovered while working on the drama anthology Magpakailanman that she is capable of delivering emotional scenes effectively, particularly crying scenes, which boosted her confidence as an actress beyond s*xy roles.
