“Habang kumakain kami ng halo-halo sa may palengke, dumating itong si Tatay na hindi na nakakakita parang nagiging mata nya ay yung bata na kasama nya.
Gutom na gutom si Tatay tapos parang uhaw na uhaw yung bata. Narinig ko na sobrang layo ng nilakad nilang dalawa.
Tapos itong si Nanay, sobrang awang awa din sya. Di nya mapigilang di umiyak kasi naaawa daw sya.
